L2V, I for one am glad a settlement was not reached before the arbitration announcement because a settlement would probably have been more favorable to Nokia than IDCC. Jorma would not have given up anything prematurely. After the award, Jorma may be in a position of having to settle more wanting to settle. A settlement after the award will definitely be more favorable to IDCC.

As for the announcement of the award, you mentioned something about whether you thought IDCC and Nokia may want to talk about a joint announcement. That would be a smart idea. That's what got us into trouble with Nokia and Samsung to begin with. Hopefully, WM will give Nokia a heads up on IDCC's announcement before they broadcast it.

I don't look for a detailed announcement until Tuesday. Even if they get notification sometime today, it may take all weekend to review it and prepare a factual announcement. I can wait until Tuesday if necessary.
