Just got off the phone with Etrade. SInce they did not receive the shares yesterday, they changed the existing share symbol (ANDI) to 888352****. You can call in a sell through "corporate actions" but you need to make sure you have enough cash to margin against. If your sell executes and you have no cash to counter the margin call, Etrade can market sell any position you have to cover. If you do not have cash and your sell executes on margin, your account will go into negative balance until they get the real shares or you cover with a cash wire.

"Corporate Actions" department believes the shares will be received today. Etrade updates accounts overnight so you have to call throughout the day to find out if the shares have been received or to execute a sell on old shares. You will not see the change on your portfolio screen.

You can buy and sell new shares all you want because open market shares are passing hands normally. Just preexisting position requires a call in trade.

True believers accumulate over time and at the offer price. Daily ups and downs mean little. Easiest way to relieve emotion is to do your DD, trust the company's intent and buy the stock, not the price. A sound investment will return well in all ranges.
