OT: PART II ......

"No sense arguing"....sounds like that might be the only opportunity for you to say anything. Keep her off balance...argue about everything! Don't concede anything!

"Mother-in law" driving you crazy before the wedding. Don't you know you should first interview all the potential bride-to-be mother-in-laws on the front end. That mother-in-law can be your best friend or your worst enemy. Pick the Mother-in-law, then the wife!

"You want your honey to have whatever she wants". How well do you know this honey? You are headed at break neck speed off a high cliff. She should be happy with whatever few crumbs you toss her way...and thank you for them. "Whatever she wants" are the 3 worst words I have ever heard for a marriage to begin with.

Costs of weddings......Sounds like you want to pay off the national debt. Come down here to Texas and I'll say a few words over you two love-bugs for nearly nothing, rent you a stall out back where the hay is soft and almost fresh. Shucks including the Texas moon and stars dancing over your heads, the whole deal won't cost ya' but about .75 sense. However, I must warn you that our Texas taxes are a bit more than that. Meals are not included but I expect all that you will need to bring is a toothbrush and some insect spray as those black widow spiders do like to crawl in dat hay you will be doin' it in. For entertainment, you can waive in the direction of Loop,Bulldzr and most of the Houston Cabal who are about 300 miles SE of here; but Ghors is right next door - bout 70 miles due East in Dallas , a real city dude.

My final advice.....wait a few years, learn the rules of marriage and engagement and train the girl of your dreams to your way of doing things.
