***Re: Think it's the MM's and nakes and other shrts. Tobin got a lot of us in to this, and NEOM, he has enough profit as it is to risk his base by manipulating stocks, I think. $$$ can make a person do odd things, but I think he's solidly on our side--when you look at his reccomendations, these two are the only big winners!"

XLT's, let's see:

MM's moving it up & down, I think it is a mit. Didn't ever happen (especially at low volume) when your order moved the price up or down? MM's mostly follow our prices, with NITE being usually the "bad guy," as they are the biggest (as part of Ameritrade - that is also the biggest)

Short selling, if still goes on, it only can be practiced by oversea exchanges. In MOBL's case, to my knowledge, Berlin stock exchange MOBL:BE is the "biggest." From the low volume (see historical prices), I doubt naked short selling is the case.

PS: last year, during the 0.29 run, naked short selling indeed was the main factor, and MOBL:BE was mainly responsible: The huge volume at or near the max. price, was quasiequal with the summ of smaller volumes over the next 2 weeks or so after the max.

To make the storry short, here's the best case scenario (and this is just an imaginary scenario, but one that could indeed happen): To me, the biggest problem reside with all those many promoters, that through their buy/sell signals move a stock in the direction they desire. Take TS (as a generic name for the problem we are facing here) for instance. When the PPS was at 0.25 he was advising followers to buy 1/3-rd below 0.2, 1/3rd below 0.16, and whatever else the other 1/3-rd. The price of his first "dump" phase of his dump-pump-dump scheme, if you recall went the way he wanted it to. I was folowing the price drop, and noticed "someone" always selling small amounts below the bid, which drove the price down. Were you or me doing it? Of course not. So all these guys, loaded their boats (by manipulating the price, to keep it down long enough so they can buy enough to satisfy their nasty appetite), then the TS guru came out with the "blessings" (the pump phase), and all of the certain, the price went from 0.14's to above 0.4. Guess who sold first at around 0.4. You got it right. Once the "blessing" stopped comming out, the last "dump" phase started. In his thirst for more free money, TS and those around him, might want to repeat the succesfull move. If so, expect this to go again to below (or around 0.2), before going up again.

Folks, thinks are getting totally OUT OF CONTROL! Here's the "head" of a Yahoo group, that now used to come up with some good picks, and the Msg. I received tonight [as of last, he's mostly wrong, so eventually he decided to ask some brokers help in promoting his choosen stock - that he's all loaded up when he's promoting it to his group). Here's his/her Msg.:

"Can you get a broker to promote your stock? please open....

group message- hi is there anyone here who can get a couple of brokers to promote a stock (u tell them) to their clients? if so, please message me and we can talk. Thanks : please email me back at ................. and we can work something out in which we both and the whole group can benifit. ;) Thanks."

This IS INSANE! I just dumped this Yahoo group, it wasn't any good anyway (and for many years I ONLY buy stocks I do my own DD on, plus I'm NOT a day trader).

Folks, if we (colectivelly) are not going to do anything to calm down all these crooks, we either join them (which at least I'm not going to do as I'm an "old fashion"-type, plus if everyone tries to fool the others, the scheme won't work anyway), or get out of this nasty pink-pong game. Been in the market fo a long time, and never, ever saw so many shameless con artists opperating their trickeries in the open, and never thought that rather than doing something about it some people actually wish to join them.
