You're right. Additionally, even though I haven't checked this report, GE Capital is one of the more profitable divisions. I would assume they had a great 12-18 months in lease financing and loans. How that could continue is beyond me.....

I think the $'s sloshing around in the economy are gone and I think credit was give to many, who aren't credit worthy, or assumed too much debt. If that is the case, the remainder of this year and 2006 could be ugly, for the economy and the markets.
