Its civil court. Whether or not its small claims court...isnt obvious to me. Small claims is a sub of the civil court system.

Cases have to start somewhere. It could always be referred to a higher court for a more powerful decision.

Im not writing off the case till I know what the case is about and where it could go...and personally I dont feel like funding attny fees over the next year.

A suit is never not a big deal. It takes focus, effort, time, money, and the overall image of being involved in a suit is negative.

Furthermore, a judge can and will stop the transaction if the court sees fit. Its pretty probable actually that a judge will allow CCEL to protect itself by suspending the transaction until both sides are heard.

Im not counting the suit out. That would be a mistake.
