I had a fairly lengthy email discussion with a university prof (well, assistance prof working on his PhD) that was pretty much against trusted computing.

After distilling his arguments (and ripping the DMCA apart in the process) it turns out he's just pissed that it's going to be harder for him to make illegal copies.
