If I owned a company and I claimed to have a new type of tire but I never sold a tire but I did sell shares of stock promoting these new tires, how long could I keep talking about selling these tires before people caught on to the fact that I haven't sold one tire ? one year, two years ???

My point is this.... If this company has a product, why don't we see them selling any products ?

Can someone answer that please ?
