Question, so, if there was no short, why were divi's paid? Can anyone answer that question. I know that it would make sense that any divi's paid not by the company would be paid by anyone shorting it. Do people just pay divi's for the fun of it? I am a bit confused by people saying "no short", yet divi's were paid. Can you have it both ways? I don't care who answers this, long, short, like or dislike or you don't even have to have a position.

I guess I am confused over how divi's get paid if the company didn't pay them... The only other people that pay divi's are people who are short. correct?
