AAPL ($316.93)...is an absolute beast. Wow! I thought about getting in here at $240 a month ago and it just blew past that price. Thanks for the solid DD posts this weekend BFR!

AAPL - Only $49 more to be...

The largest company in the WORLD!!! Assuming, of course ,that XOM's price remains flat :) Incredible to think about it, particularly with earnings next week. I imagine they beat and will quite possibly guide higher. Just based upon iPad sales numbers - current and projected - they should report well.

Is this lofty valuation deserved? An argument can be made for it. If for no other reason, than the fundamentals are still low for a GROWTH company, which AAPL clearly is. Look at the valuation measures - P/E, PEG, etc. - compared to the growth figures for AAPL vs. some of the other "high-flying tech growth" stocks - FFIV, CRM, VMW. Plain and simple, AAPL is monster growth company.

That being said, I still think they need to "blow the cover off the ball" with earnings/guidance this Q to keep this monster run going. Even a decent, in-line report could be a sell the news event.
