cabvinyard, all: As I understand it, and correct if I'm wrong, WiMAX is what BIG Telecom is basing the future of delivering broadband communications to the world. In fact, companies like Intel are spending millions of dollars building an infrastructure to have wiMax operable by 2007 or so.
Am I to understand that the stratellite technology, if successful will "supercede" this approach and as Huff said in his newsletter? "GlobeTel will, in the future, be able to deliver integrated voice, video and data through the development of Internet Protocol (IP) Super Hub infrastructure, the ideal platform for High Performance Rich Content applications."
Is this a fair assessment of the situation, or am I missing something?
