LOL, I bow to your greatness oh black tied one. And of course very few will even understand the numbers you spew (I do). And Im sure you know what AAD stands for on the back of a CD. But thats ok, we can disagree. I have no intention of debating the subject further (the point was to be made elsewhere). In spite of anything you or I could say, there are factions out there that could endlessly prove either side wrong. In the meantime I still have a 15 year old turntable and a 5 year old CD player (both top notch) and on a good quality CD or record, you cant tell the difference. Gave up the equalizer 10 years ago.

PS: Ever listen to a old album that has been put onto CD? Lotsa noise eh? I know, it comes from the original recording. BUT, today's digital recording techniques have the ability to remove that noise, why dont they?
