W-i-v, your pushing for getting investment bankers involved was not rejected as being elitist. However, your insinuation that management is too amateurish and inexperienced to recognize when the situation will demand such involvement was indeed rejected.
Now that a lot has taken place to make this discussion relevant, waterdog has pointed out that management will take the appropriate steps.
The earlier discussion, if you recall, was about bringing in investment bankers to jump-start the share price, which was perceived as lagging because Ed didn't know how to move the company forward. Others argued that the short-term price is not Ed's focus, and indeed shouldn't be, and he is building the foundations for long-term growth. At some point it would indeed be appropriate to expand the talent base in that direction.
No reversal or contradiction here. This is what we were saying the whole time.
