rachelise...excuse me. No....I think it was a more of a joint co-equal process. If you have evidence to the contrary, then pls provide. I am referring to the Trusted Logic/Wavesys project a la Finread. STM picked the WAVX/NTRU architecture because they perceived as more 'robust'. My contention is that STMicroelectronics senses something about this architecture that we 'posters' don't realize at this juncture. My 'guess' is that STM sees NTRU as a powerful partner w/ MSFT and perhaps NTRU advised STM to select Wavesys because it has a more potent ETS offering. Actually, Wavesys has done alot of work for MSFT over the years....in case you didn't know this little factoid. These are my thoughts. If you don't know what I am talking about.....then pls try to understand that all of us are trying to piece it together. This includes you......right? and so it goes.....
