Do you serioulsy think George didn't screw up the game. Prior to his going on spending for the sake of spending teams like KC or Pitt or small market teams could compete. Spending the most money year after year does not mean you will win the series and injuries can happen but it does mean you will be there most times and far more than others.

Personally I think Cashman sucks as a GM with all that money he gets to spend and the Yankees not winning more. That's why the NFL for the limited amount of games they play is far and away the best league followed by hockey and the NBA. I'm sure NY could spend 300 million and their fan base would say that's ok too.
