A balanced league? How many different world series winners have we had the past 10 years? How much more of a balanced league do you want? So many of these teams that cry Poverty and get fools to believe them. There was a time Yankees were really bad in the 80's and were averaging something like 28k a game for fans. It is proven you will build the fan base if you put money into the team and bring fans in. They get revenue sharing and Luxery tax money for free so they don't have to put any real money into the team. Then they cry poverty and need more money. Your right, Hicks screwed up the Rangers but there are owners that screw up their own teams. It was just easier for them to blame the yankees because people were foolish enough to believe it.
