IMO:There should be a Pacer Filing by Both,Lucent and IDCC Monday, indicating they have narrowed the scope of Patent Claim disputes..I would imagine that since the original time frame was extended..both Party's have had some progress..and any agreement by the Defendant is a victory for the Plaintiff..since only one claim for Infringement has to survive..

Rule 4-2. "Pursuant to the Court's Amended Docket Control Order, the parties have been ordered to
comply with Patent Rule 4-2 by January 10, 2005. Lucent Technologies Inc. ("Lucent") and
Tantivy Communications, Inc. ("Tantivy") are continuing their efforts to try and narrow the list
of terms and issues concerning claim construction. Accordingly, Lucent and Tantivy jointly
move the Court for Order extending the deadline to January 21, 2005 for the parties to comply
with Patent Rule 4-2."
