What this refers to is narrowing the disputed facts, and issues for the court to hear. It really doesn't provide much information one way or the other as to how the case will bear out. Sorry.

Even Ericsson and InterDigital agreed upon the meaning and scope of some words and phrases in the patent claims in their lawsuit. There were plenty left over to argue about in the Markman hearing. Maybe these Tantivy patents were more narrowly and carefully written, or are being interpreted less expansively by InterDigital, and there will be few words to fight over. I wouldn't count on it. I wonder if the document will be available to the public. I would guess not, although most of the claims construction briefs were not sealed in Ericsson, so there is some hope.
