The GSA would release WMI's Board of Directors, among others, from any and all potential legal action against them, stating that such persons would be "irrevocably and unconditionally, fully, finally, and forever waived, released, acquitted and discharged... from any and all claims, demands, rights, liabilities, or causes of action of any and every kind, character or nature whatsoever, in law or in equity, known or unknown".
