For several years, under conducting from Chinese Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), Hautai's e-securities has gained dramatic performance with support of social circles and mass investors. Huatai Securities has taken the lead in trial online handling securities in 1998, and grew up continuously. Online trade volume occupied 5% of trade volume of the whole company in 1999. In 2000, online trade volume was RMB 21.24 billion, taking 12.5% of trade volume of the whole company (the ratio of the industry was about 2.97%), about 20% of online trade volume of the whole industry, the number of online trade account reached 150 thousand. In 2002, the number of online trade account reached 280 thousand, online trade volume reached RMB 31.42 billion, occupied 30.76% of trade volume of the whole company.
For supporting development of e-securities and providing first class information services to mass investors, Huaitai website was launched in Dec 1999. With effort for several years, mass investors accept Huatai website that gets more prestige time to time. In Oct 2000, Huatai website made the first time of taking new edition that contained many columns investors favored strongly. In Jul 2002, the website took a new edition again, meanwhile offered professional edition and web edition of online trading system. Currently, registrant on Huatai website reach 300 thousand, the click times of Huatai website home page are about 120 thousand per day, the whole click times of the website are 6~8 million per day, online experts have to answer more than 600 questions every day.
