Welcome to the new wave.id.com

http://id.wave.com

Wave System's Identity service lets you create a single token that can be used to log into thousands of websites. Instead of inputting many different usernames and passwords id.wave.com does it for you. You instruct a site to accept this token as proof that you are the account owner and id.wave.com validates the authorization. It's easier and much more secure.

A standard protocol known as OpenID makes this possible. OpenID is already supported by major sites such as Google, Yahoo, Facebook and many more. OpenID poses no privacy risks. As an identity provider we have no knowledge or access to your accounts, we only prove that your authorization is the same as used before.

At id.wave.com that authorization is rooted in the security hardware of your PC. You're trusting your access rights around the web to a physical device, not a username/password that could be compromised. Without your computer no one can pretend to be you.

No passwords, No compromises.

What's New

Since our preview release we've made a number of significant changes:

No prompts: To further improve ease-of-use we have removed the PIN prompts. The service is particularly effective when used with strong authentication for login to the operating system, such as with a self-encrypting drive. Once authenticated to your machine you are able to access all your established resources, both local and online, without additional passwords.

Government Compliance: id.wave.com is compliant with the ICAM (Federal Identity, Credential and Access Management) standards. This includes anonymous identifiers, SSL support and many other features that strengthen the privacy and security of your identity. ICAM support positions id.wave.com to be used with thousands of government sites supporting OpenID in an initiative originally announced in 2009.

Better Experience: With this release browser pop-ups, tabs and new windows are reduced to streamline the experience. We aim to log you in as effortlessly as possible.

The service continues as a beta. We'd love to get your feedback.
