Janet Francis, speaking for Petiquilla Minerals, Ltd, stated in several e-mails that were responding to shareholder inquiries that: (1) the first meeting was canceled because counsel was undecided what method would be used to spin off PQI; (2) the second meeting was canceled because they had decided that a plan of arrangement would not be used to spin off PQI.

Then they reported via 6-K filing that the new firm was hired to establish valuations and possible engage in marketing all or part of the company either to a large investor or to sell it.

Time to get ready for finals and forget about this stock for a couple of months!
