Shareholder Vote on Poison Pill....

Regarding your comment about the 10-K, I don't think the vote comes until the ASM, so I think he statement in the 10-K is accurate (even though IDCC knew on Dec. 30th that Bill Nasgovitz had initiated action to remove the pill).

However, I have read several articles about various BOD's voluntarily lifting the Poison Pill when action is initiated by shareholders. If you look at this issue from the standpoint of the potential increase in the stock price, it is actually in the best interest of management to remove any obstacles that might prevent a bidding war (many officers have ~200K shares).

Now is the time to lift the poison pill. It might even provide enough of a push for Nokia to sign a license (if they are afraid of Apple acquiring IDCC).
