About IEHC
IEH Corporation started in 1937 as a tool and die maker. It was organized under the laws of the state of New York, on March 22 1943, under the name Industrial Heat Treating Company, Inc. For many years we produced tube sockets for the TV industry. As the need for the tube sockets disappeared, we became a manufacturer of connectors employing the Hyperboloid contact design. Our name changed to Industrial Electronics Hardware on June 30 1959. On March 15 1989, our name changed to IEH Corporation. When asked what IEH stands for, we tell our valued customers "In Excellent Hands"
IEH Corporation is engaged in the design, development, manufacture and distribution of high performance electronic printed circuit connectors and specialized interconnection devices. Our hyperboloid contact design will meet the most stringent requirements for shock and vibration. IEH assists your engineering department in the development of a connector to meet your application.
In addition to a standard line of .100 and .075 printed circuit board connectors that contain compliant, Surface Mount, Dip Solder and Solder Cup Terminations, we are very active in the support of our customers who require custom designs. Our standards as well as custom designs have been produced with as few as 6 contacts per connector to as many as 1300 contacts per connector.
Our products are marketed to original equipment manufacturers and distributors serving the Government, Military, Aerospace, Medical, Automotive, Test equipment, Computer and commercial electronics markets. We appear on the Military MIL-C-55302 Qualified products listing "QPL", and supply customer requested modifications to this specification.
