Regardless of how the intricate details fall into place, is it universally accepted that both CTIA and ICANN have to be involved for this entire 2d barcode system to work? Or is it possible for one to develop this thing totally independent of the other?

As for a keyword registry, it hasn't seemed that it gets much attention, or is even discussed much...... being completed overshadowed by 2d barcode scanning side of things and its potential.

Before this ICANN release and a potential connection, what was the latest talk about a keyword registry?

Anyone know what the collaboration has been between these two entities up til this point, in terms of 2d barcode scanning and an ecosystem?
