Survivor, I definitely agree that it's discovery that is the biggest stick that will drive settlement. But the 4 billion is a big obstacle that would be cleared....and let's face it- JPM has got to be cognizant that it will drive their shareholders attention to these lawsuits in a big way. When they discover WMI was right about the 4bill....maybe they're right about the other elements. Not an environment that their management team and BOD would want to be in, I wouldn't think.
