Got this back from Wave.

This is at the top of their agenda.

There have been lots of discussions in the TCG from PC OEMs and others, about being able to ship the TPM already turned on, so that the user doesn’t have to go through all this, but there remains lots of privacy paranoid people who don’t want to face the European Privacy Groups over that step. In the meantime, it IS a very complex step.
