Nature hasn't been holding many punches lately. The UN reported 7 million people died of starvation or malnutrition in 2006 (or was is '05?). I have been t4rying hard to find updates on the numbers since. I found one site that suggested the following years number was 33 million. That is equivalent to one person every second. The geometric progression suggests 2 things:
a) There are many to count b) A child dies of starvation every second.
It is Mother Nature who supplies the food we depend on.
