Hypothetically speaking... if the JDZ contains 30B barrels of oil you can bet your @ss the operators will take 1-2 DECADES to "discover" it all.

Why?

Because if they went public with announcing the JDZ was 30B barrels Nigeria and Sao Tome would be holding out both hands, feet and a few dump trucks demanding higher royalty/tax for such a world class find.

You can BET on that. The JDZ will come online slowly, but fast enough that you won't be able to spend your shares in your lifetime.

*IF* ERHC stays around it will enjoy an initial pop to $4, $6, $10? and then grow by 50%-100% per year for 5-7-10? years slowing to $30-50% per year after that as they poke into all the nooks and crannies.

I set my expectations low so I still have the dream of upside surprises. Investing without the chance of an upside surprise would be as interesting as watching snails mate.
