A kondratiev wave ends when the prime drivers of the economic shift have been absorbed into the market structure, and once again the crooks have hauled away the booty from the public. Then the redistribution of wealth occurs and we wait until the new driver shows up. The actual driver of the past 80 years was the internal combustion engine. It stole the fire of the coal industry, and as coal and the steam engine died, the internal combustion took over.

It is possible that Natural Gas will replace oil, or solar, or biofuels. I have a patent pending in biofuels. Don't buy any biofuel companies until they sign a license agreement with Tempy. Just because Bill Gates put $150 million into a company, doesn't mean he can perform predatory practices and take my technology;)
