Kitty,

You must be a lawyer.

:)

I actually worded my post very carefully (or so I thought). Perhaps I should have been more technical by saying that "patents are usually rock solid". I'm thinking that you would definately argue that though.

(Smiling on this end)

But then again, I haven't read your link yet, so I'll refrain from typing that!! You made the claim of falsehoods, and I was waiting on you to produce the right link. Right meaning a USPTO link.

Well wouldn't you know....
My version of windows cannot support that file. And no Kitty, I wouldn't just say that to win a debate. My question to you is: What number of those "reworked patents" are held by publicly traded companies? Can you riddle me that?? Additionally, what number of re-worked patents involved a counter suit???

We can get as technical as you want with it. The big burden of proof is on TOY. It's not in SOLM's interest to file a lawsuit unless they think they've got them dead to rights. Where's the countersuit at Kitty? Interesting variable aye??

My opinion is not biased towards SOLM because of pro-patent "attitude". It's biased towards SOLM because of strong demand for product, but I've also seen favorable outcome in the market with regard to patents being upheld. More often than not I might add.

Got a better link?
