fivexshot (and others)..thanks for the friendly reply. I understand you don't trust the source of those 3rd party statistics, and arguably also reject them because they are not supportive of your "a Patent is rock solid" attitude, but I assure you those statistics are genuine.
Hopefully you will reply with a reassessment of your position upon reading the following link. It is reproduced from the horses mouth, the Patent and Trademark Office, Department of Commerce. Any number of independent IP reference sources from even superficial DD will confirm these PTO statistics. Reexamination requests to the PTO are a very common and powerful tool used by infringers to delay, fight and weaken patent holders.
The question is.. what do you say given these statistics are accurate.
Mine is not a negative post, rather a post arming SOLM investors for the fight ahead.
Kitty ps.. I'm disappointed .. my "ego" isn't the issue, but my correctness, experience and education is. Unless you can match it in the Intellectual Property arena, perhaps you might try reining yours in.
