First, why would the TA quit, wouldn't they get paid for their services whether or not the number of O/S and float is too high. Perhaps they were paid in shares? Either way, it's still revenue coming in for the company right?

Pacific Transfer is one of the larger TAs in the West. They've had a lot of experience, and I imagine they recognize trouble when they see it. They handle a lot of penny stock companies, so no, I don't think they'd take shares in payment.

Second, Why might it be hard for Urbie to find another TA - kind of along the same lines as my last question. There's nothing wrong with a little revenue.

No, there's nothing wrong with adding to one's client list. But TAs don't get paid more for answering the phone. They don't mind telling people what a company's o/s is, normally; in fact it's part of their job. But they do NOT expect hundreds of calls a day. Add to that management yelling at you because you revealed the Secret Number, which you didn't realize was Secret, and well....some jobs just ain't worth it.
