My brother has a Dell Dimension 2300 needing a new hard drive... he needs a 1 inch high IDE ATA. He wants to buy an Ultra16 SATA II

I say it won't work unless he can get an adapter to convert the IDE cable to a SATA cable, if then. Can this be done? TIA
