Awk--Has WAVE "Just partnered with HP"(?)

The first job description, which includes the "Just partnered with HP, does not identify the company. It does state that the company was founded in 1994. Does that preclude WAVX as the unidentified company? NO! To the contrary! The year 1994 was the year that WAVE became a "public company"!

And a contrast and comparison of the two job descriptions, with identical job titles', makes it nearly indisputable that finally a REAL HP/WAVE PARTNERSHIP has emerged and will hopefully be announced very soon!

The candidate is responsible for the technical development and management of multiple complex projects and ensures that the development team is following a development process throughout the product lifecycle to achieve on time delivery with desired quality targets. The candidate will create detailed development plans, prioritizes work assignments, evaluates risks and assigns projects based on available resources. Sets clear objectives for direct reports and compares deliverables against objectives. Manages day-to-day decisions of the team, including bug priorities, work assignments and work sequencing. Responsible for team staffing. Directs the analysis, design, programming, debugging, and modification of commercial security applications for large OEM customers. Interfaces with senior management to report the project and program milestones and to present project needs. Interfaces with partners to develop software for emerging hardware security technologies. Interfaces with customers to represent developed technology and provide issue resolution when required.

The ideal candidate must have at least 8 years hands-on development experience and 5 years of formal software development management experience, including project planning. In depth knowledge of Windows system level programming is needed, knowledge of Linux a strong plus. The candidate must be proficient in C and C++ programming and have a thorough knowledge of engineering lifecycle processes.

The candidate should have excellent written and oral communication skills, be dependable and a team player with strong team-building and leadership qualities. Excellent analysis and problem solving skills are required. The candidate should be action-oriented and customer focused and able to work to short deadlines.

BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent work experience is required.
