LF, it appears that Hannah deserves top priority in folk's outlooks right now...One thing in the NOAA discussion kinda stuck earlier today...It said that Hannah had moved a little further East than originally projected before starting its Northern turn...So if we assume the projection of a hurricane holds true then a few questions may be considered...Will the slighlty East shift put Hannah over warmer water along the coast of Florida more than expected?...And if so, how much could it increase the ultimate intensity before landfall?...

With Ike the use of the term small for a cat 4 hurricane seems misleading...Its only about the size of South Carolina right now...But what would that do if it hit that state at the current strength?...The storm has accelerated in strength so fast that its buildout in size has not occured as fast...The size buildout should increase over time as it proceeds East over the warm ocean waters...

Ike may not be a storm that is easily steered back West as much as early projections show if the size grows over the next few days as much as its intensity has...Stay dry...LJ
