Dear Sir,

It is our sad duty to report that your warden has suffered an accident while enjoying a hike through one of our local ranges. Through no fault of the guide, he slipped, fell and as a result has suffered extensive injuries. Due to the remote location of the accident and the even more remote location of the medical facilities to which the warden was taken for treatment, we are unable to estimate when he will be able to complete his journey and return to his duties.
Rest assured we will keep you updated as events unfold.
