While it cannot be said with certainty when the appeal will be resolved, in light of the order expediting the appeal, and the scheduling of oral argument for mid-June, It seems reasonable to expect that InterDigital’s appeal will be resolved by late June or early July, 2008

I have spoken with the CA2 and have been told that although the hearing was expedited, that does not necessarily mean the ruling will be on that basis. They have repeatedly explained to me that there is no such thing as an “estimated time frame” for a ruling to come down, as there are too many factors/intangibles that enter into it with the multitude of judges schedules, etc. They are extremely nice and VERY non-committal – lol

Because I feel these rulings hold much importance, I do check on the site several times a day, and will continue to do so.
