Think about what you just posted spock...you're saying you can't imagine that this company(EFFC) would be collaborating with Ocean & Transport Canada to create a maritime industry standard for the CRAM if the legal situation was in any way untenable...BUT...that's exactly what the situation IS!

I mean come on...you seriously don't think there's any issues over the CRAM due to the above? Heck a full year ago this company(EFFC) told the whole world they were collaborating with several transportation co.'s ie: Air Liquide, Robert Transport, Challenger in creating a new standard in the trucking industry while at the same time telling everyone they were collaborating with Transport Canada & the USDOT...however...we all know how that worked out don't we!

So my point is there's a huge difference in taking what EFFC tells the market at face value...& what the publicly verifiable facts show...& unless & until we see a direct public quote from Transport Canada there is absolutely no evidence that Transport Canada is presently "collaborating" with EFFC to develop a maritime industry standard beyond a one line mention to it in EFFC's latest PR! I mean if EFFC & Transport Canada are in fact collaborating on creating such a standard one would think that would be huge news in the entire maritime industy & something Transport Canada would not only publicly embrace...but something newspaper reporters in the maritime transportation industry would be reporting on in the mainstream news media. And since the last time this company(EFFC) told the world they were collaborating with the transportation industries on both sides of the border in developing a new industry standard for the trucking industry everyone later discovered that all it really amounted to was EFFC presenting a concept on fatigue monitoring & wasn't really a "collaboration" at all.
