Geniouses yes, Beyond belief, not hardly. I work with many different kinds of detection and communication technologies and systems within my industry and have for nearly 20 years. The reinvention of the 'wheel' as it were, happens often and in similar situations where people jump from one ship to another and it can take place in a short amount of time.

I can't immagine that Ocean Group would partner with ECT in collaboration with Transport Canada to develope a new maritime standard based upon CRAM if they did not have reasonable assurance that the CRAM technology was legitimate or if the legal situation was in any way untenable for ECT.

I don't know what the technical differences are between SDS and CRAM, but it seems to me that the market is betting on CRAM.

Well then again, so am I.
