flicker, have you tried contacting your congressman? Sometimes the ego of a congressman is more powerful than money. In this case you have to sell him or her on the idea that they can save the lives of people in their state at no cost. If you can convince them that that statement is serious, how can they turn it down? Also, make sure you tell them that you will be contacting the major newspapers in the state about this clinical trial. I'd recommend similar letters to your 2 senators and your congressman. Then you might compose another letter and send it to all the major newspapers in the state. That's my game plan anyway. Sending it certified allows you to check to see when your letter is received. My congressman received mine yesterday. If enough of us shareholders did this then some states are bound to respond. Good luck.
