Bad News...

Last night on two major TV stations (Channel 2 WB and Channel 9) in Colorado that a major pharmaceutical company has pulled the plug on "The only trial" for a cure to West Nile Virus. They showed a woman who had gone into paralysis and coma and had been cured by this company's trial drug last summer. They interviewed the teary eyed Infectious Disease Specialist from Boulder Community Hospital and the woman.

What's up with stopping the trial? The company wants the government to pitch in 400m to 600m dollars to support the costs of the trial. ... 'The only trial' ...They will probably get it if this story stands as the official position of the medical community.

The good news of course is that we are still working to get the news out on Genomed but we are having to work at the grass roots level. It is working but it is difficult and slow and we have met with some resistance (medical authority and major media). And, if this company see's 600m dollars at stake it could get even more difficult.

Any advice?
