I seem to recall past discussions over the fact the SEC never formally notifies a company that the investigation is over (which seems highly odd to me). If true, will this statement by the SEC be the only signal that it's over, plus perhaps the levying of a small fine?

"In other words, but for Monterosso’s conduct, none of the violations of the Securities Act or Exchange Act alleged would have occurred."
