Driven. In regards to the palcement of new stores.
Granted, in some cases having no competition is a good thing. However, I was surprised that he sounded pretty definate about not opening up a store where competition existed. Or rather, only opening stores where no competition exists.
A rule of thumb in retail is to open a store right close by a thriving competitor. All the biggies (walmart, mcdonalds, burger king, KFC, etc) have proven that time and again.
Perhaps, as they mature they will be more apt to oepn stores in direct competition with others.
