As I understand it that is widely regarded as the corniest pun of all time. Believe me though after a suitable recovery period I'll be submitting some of it's rivals.

Near where I grew up a local city was famous for it's sweet corn. At harvest they would hold a great festival. My high school band would spend two days and nights shucking corn to raise money for the band. In order to stay awake all night, the band started a tradition called the "corny joke festival".
Never was a group more glad to see a senior graduate than the poor band members that endured three years of some of the most horrendously funny puns imaginable. Now it's your turn.
