As a lover of good(bad?) puns I offer the following:


A group of archaeologists decided they would become famous by locating the burial place of Ludwig Von Beethoven. After much research they narrowed their search and set out into the field to confirm their findings. Finally on the last day of their exploration they entered a dark cave. As they pressed forward they noticed a light at the far end of the cave. Procceeding onward they were soon able to determine that the light was a candle on a desk at which a man was busily erasing sheets of music. They rushed up to the man and promptly asked him, "Who are you and what are you doing here?"
He rose and replied,
"I am Ludwig Von Beethoven...and I am decomposing."
