Two possible reasons for the nixed FS

Reason #1 I have seen this tactic used in the past to force short covering prior to the ex-date of the FS. Then after the FS happens the company does a RS.

Reason #2 The filing was a misprint and the FS was really a large reverse split. Their is some language in the filing that would lend creditability to this.
