I was at the Dell/Seagate/Wave seminar last night for a short time as I unfortunately had a family emergency to attend to. I too was unimpressed with the lack of turnout...HOWEVER...I was very impressed with Sam Bhattarai, Seagate Product line Manager of Emerging Products. He stated to me.."Seagate is banking our FUTURE on this new technology.." He then caught himself and re-stated.."We have other great products...but this will be a significant piece of our revenue going forward.." I then asked Sam how important/imperative is WAVE to the FDE2....his response.."Vital"

Wish I had had more time to speak to Steven and other sponsors. Make no mistake about Seagates determination to make this their "KILLER" product. Also...a few blocks away from the seminar are two office buildings that house Boeing and Chicago Board of Trade.
