Michael, you are dwelling too much on the smaller details. AMD is getting this win because Toshiba is trying to cut costs. That means they are aiming to get cheap processors. 200MHz here or there, or the addition of SSE4 probably means little or nothing to Toshiba. They have already reserved their high end models for Intel CPUs.
