"Can you read? He just told Spunk his motive for the umpteenth time.

If you are a legitmate oilman, an oil scam is the most offensive thing you can imagine. BDGR blackens the industry, BDGR makes it harder for legitimate players to raise money, BDGR will probably cause new regulations to be written, BDGR does not pay their bills, and has directly hurt some friends and acquaintances. All of this causes hardship and decreased profitability for the rest of the industry."

Where were you with this golden insight when Red Chip was telling us how new and shiny BDGR was?

Ask me how much I care about your friends. How much do you care about my friends?

If you or anyone else chose this industry and got hurt, that is the risk you take. That is not our fault as shareholders.

Sure there are better ways to do things, but that's life. No guide book. No guarantees. No entitlement.

"And if you have worked in the industry for awhile you see people get suckered into scams every time oil price booms, but especially in the 1970s and 2000s."

Again, you and local oil with the moralizing. Do you both wear spandex and capes? Why didn't you show up when Red Chip flashed the dollar sign signal?

"I thought, I'll bet these investors would like to know a few of these things so they can get out before they get hurt any worse. Hah! Not a chance. It's first viewed as a personal attack, and then dismissed as paid bashing. In fact, I notice that the more disturbing the fact, the more intense the denial and the bigger the defensive reaction."

Let me remind you of one of your earlier statements on this board:

"I have been watching this train wreck for months now trying to figure out what could be learned from it and how I can make a buck from it, and...drum roll...here it is...."

That doesn't sound like a very compassionate person to me. You have done way too much rubbernecking to pull the altruistic play.

"It's like suggesting to your daughther that her boyfriend is no good; it's sure to backfire. Human beings, you gotta love 'em."

That is your whole presence on this board wrapped up in a nice analogy. As clear as that situation might appear, it would not be for you to judge, now would it? After all, that would not be your relationship.

As bitter as I am about BDGR, at least I'm still in the game trying to make the best of it. And BDGR is my girl friend who is no good for me. And the other share holders have their bad girlfriends (and Ruger has his bad boyfriend).

Even if this goes tits up, I will keep moving forward. You quit trying a long time ago and now you sit in judgement from your throne on high.

Make no mistake, everything you post about the share holders here is personal. I don't know what you are missing in your life but you won't find it here.

People make mistakes. Every mistake I have made, am making, or will make will teach me something. That makes me human and I'm glad to make them. Even big ones like BDGR. But that is something you will most likely never understand.
